Introduction

This guide will expand upon the novice guide by listing more complex strategies, inclusion of of duel skills and using wording and phrasing of others and yourself to your advantage. These strategies will apply to both classic and duel game modes as well as to 8 and 12 player rooms. Please keep in mind certain roles are only available in duel mode while other roles depend on how many players are in the room once it starts. Refer to occupation information for more details.

The Mafia Team

Mafia

Importantly, impersonations must be made to confront important roles of Citizen Teams such as Cop/Doctors. Most Mafioso impersonate as a "Cop + Doctor" combination because it becomes quite difficult to get through the situation if either Cop or Doctor is confirmed. In the case of the "Police + Special Role" combination, it has the advantage of making it difficult for Citizen Teams to read the game. And in the case of the "Doctor + Special Role" combination, it is easy to lynch out the Citizen Teams like inducing Cop exchange. Both Mafioso could say that they have special role and bring the chaos in the game, but its too risky. So it is your choice. What is certain is that the combination has diversified since the release of Mad Scientists and the buff made to Beast Man.

Spy

At first, choose a random one to make a contact with Mafioso (wait until 15 seconds to check the Bullhorn). If you fail to contact with Mafioso, finding Mafioso by analyzing the revealed roles and concentrate the votes to Citizen Team would be the main strategy. It's advantageous to have a quick contact, so it's better to try on suspicious players right away.

• Because if a spy successfully contact with Mafioso, there will be more strategies that Mafia team can come up with. So once they succeed in the first contact, they often win in favor. . Mostly, Spy pretend as Cop/Vigilante and one Mafia pretends as Doctor, and rest will pretend as a special role. Either Cop / Vigilante used their skills and cleaned the Spy, or Cop find the Mafia who pretended as special role, the Mafia Team might lead the game. In addition, since Mafia Team each other's role, it becomes easier for them to instigate if there was no confirmed special role.

Hostess

Delay the contact with Mafioso as late as possible and seduce roles that may be the threat to Mafia Team. But there's a high possibility that Hostess will die first.

Also, under the following circumstances, the Mafia Team will win unconditionally, so please refer to it.

• Politician + Contacted Hostess: If you seduce Politicians, the number of votes of Politicians will be reduced to one vote, it will result Mafia Team to win.
• Gangster + Contacted Hostess: If you seduce Gangster, Gangster can't threaten you, so if you lead it by 10 nights, big possibility to win. At this time, getting a collection icon is a bonus. However, this strategy could be done if only Hostess seduce the Gangster before Gangster knew who Hostess is.
