Thief

Objective: Steal the occupation of the players and assist the mafiosos.

Description

The Thief is an assistant member of the Mafia Team, with the ability to 'copy' the occupation of other players. The thief can only win with a Mafia team victory.

Each day, you can use [Kleptomania] by voting for a player during the voting time. You can use the abilities of the player you voted for until the next daytime. When you use [Kleptomania] on a player your identity is not revealed to them, although the player you stole from can still use their abilities. 

If you try to steal the occupation of a Mafioso, [Train] is automatically activated. Your identity is revealed to the Mafia team, and you can participate in the night chat.

Although you are sided with the Mafia team, your vote does not count as a Mafia team vote until [Train] becomes activated.

• If you are searched by a Cop, the results will show that you are not a member of the Mafia.
• If the player you use [Kleptomania] on is a Soldier, your attempt fails, and your identity is revealed to them.
• You can steal the Priest's [Revive] ability or the Reporter's [Exclusive] ability multiple times as long as the real Priest or the Reporter haven't used those abilities themselves. Once they've used their skills, you cannot copy them anymore.
• You can copy the Politician's [Evasion] ability only once to avoid a lynching. If you use [Kelptomania] on the Politician and you are lynched by majority vote, a message will show up announcing that the Politician cannot be lynched by voting and you won't be killed, but your icon will automatically change to that of the Thief to every player, revealing your identity. Once this happens, you cannot copy the [Evasion] ability again.
• If you vote for the Cult Leader during voting time, instead of copying their abilities you will be immediately converted to the Cult Team.
